I love Dr. Lundy. she is thorough. kind, patient, personable and doesn't mind you asking questions and then explains things on my level and if I still don't get it she'll explain it again. but I think above all is she treats her patient with respect!!

I’ve been using Dr. Lundy for several years and she’s one that listens to everything you say and asks you questions to help her understand what she needs to do instead of giving you the bum rush. She’s very knowledgeable, genuinely cares and makes sure that you get what you need. I’ll give you a good experience to explain what I’m saying. My husband has had prostate cancer and has overcome very well. Afterwards he was diagnosed with melanoma cancer and has had to have several surgeries to cut out large areas of tissue then was put on Opdivo infusions once a month to prevent a reoccurrence. It was time for his 3rd infusion, but he got very sick, weak and in a lot of pain so his oncologist sent him straight to the ER. It turns out that Opdivo has less than a 1% chance that it will destroy your pancreas and that’s what happened to my husband so he’s a Type 1 diabetic now and it’s so hard to control that he wears a sensor and an insulin pod, we’ve had to learn how to count how many carbs he eats per meal to try to control it as well. This past year he started losing blood and saw Dr. Lundy and she wanted him to have a colonoscopy to find the root of the problem so she referred him to an gastroenterologist which, she did not actually listen to what we were telling her about his health issues and decided he didn’t need a colonoscopy because he had one a year before and everything was perfect. She just told us that it was hemorrhoids and to have another colonoscopy in 10 years. Dr. Lundy looked at this gastroenterologist’s report and she ORDERED a colonoscopy at that point because she knew that it was not hemorrhoids by the way he was bleeding. During the colonoscopy they found where he was bleeding high up in his colon and had to cauterize the tissues that was bleeding. It turns out that when he had radiation treatments when he had prostate cancer can cause colon bleeding at any time. Dr. Lundy is our hero and she continues to take great care of us both and her staff is also very prompt, professional and supportive. We never wait very long at all when we have an appointment and DCOL have come up with some wonderful ideas to cut down on wait times, checking in and checking out with your doctor and for the Lab. We both highly recommend DCOL and Dr. Lundy.
